This avalanche probably occurred Saturday night / Sunday morning as the bed surface was partially covered by the low density new snow from the most recent storm in this wind sheltered location. I performed a beacon search as I walked up the debris pile and received no signal. This relatively small avalanche appears to have failed on the large grain facets near the ground.
