I hiked up to Second Right Hand Overlook at 6800'. The top 8" of snow was damp, below it was fine & soft but not quite damp. On the way down I heard an avalanche rumble up Hale Draw just before I passed below it. About 3:00 pm.
The trigger was at or above my marker on the map. Probably shifting with damp pack. It dropped down the open & sloped slabs and down the first and second rolloffs. There was some debris between the rolloffs, and a larger pile below the second.
The Debris was at least 250 yards from the trail,, so, 'no worries'.
