Mt Lassen, old ski hill

We skied Lassen today and dug a pit near the visitor center at the old ski hill, east aspect, 30deg slope. 164cm snow depth. Similar crust layers to the Shasta Zone. Significant crust at 100cm. Dug down past 100cm layer. CTN and ECTX. No other signs of instability. No wind loading down low. 5cm of light snow on top of a supportable rain crust. Surface hoar seen in area.
