Quick report
Drove to the bridge that crosses Snow Creek, between Caribou and Ruby Passes, where a large, extended snow pile limits vehicle travel beyond. Rode bikes from there up to 5,400 feet where the road has continuous snow cover. Traveled on skis from that point up to the high point around 6,500 feet.

- Trace
Overcast skies and fog. Intermittent graupel showers. Steady south winds.
Snowpack
The snowpack continues to deplete quickly and has mostly transitioned to a late-spring, isothermal-homogenous state. Most wet snow hazards seem confined to near-surface wetting and sluffing. Snow cover remains continuous and deep enough on west through north to east-facing slopes above 6,000 feet to factor avalanche risk into your terrain decision making.
Avalanche
No recent activity. Some older, hard to classify, Loose Wet slides.
