Fantastic skiing for Mid November as long as you steer clear of steep loaded terrain features! Early season "below snow hazards" certainly exist, but there's plenty of coverage to have a good time. Reactive wind slabs at and below ridgelines specific to exposed terrain features on NW-NE aspects

light cloud cover for most of the day with intermittent sun breaks kept the snow cold. Wind was negligible.
Snowpack
I found a right-side up snowpack defined by two major accumulation events separated by a crust complex about 80cms down. The bond to the crust appeared strong although multiple weak layers within the storm snow were evident, including a reactive wind slab in the upper 10-20cms.
Avalanche
Skier triggered a small pocket in a cross loaded microfeature. Approx 40' wide and 4-8" deep. Ran roughly 150' fanning out into the apron. R1D1
