Two hasty pits and probes 1: nw aspect in open glades at 9800ft. Probe hit ground at six feet . Dug into the top 3ish feet showed right side up snow pack with no pronounced layers. Probe felt similar for 5ish ft then very noticeable pop into hollow basal facet layer. 2 : open sky west aspect at 9950. Dug to the ground about 90cm depth. Right side up all the way with strong basal ROUNDS that were kinda wettish. Bottom line looks like a snow pack trending healthy but if you hit the right combo of shallow and shady you could trigger the big one. Lots of those areas in the windy craggy lines of togwotee.
