Quick report
We entered the top of the second option. We mitigated an obvious wind loaded “pillow” near the top. While having eyes on, my ski partner entered flossing an area of wind loading and perceived unloaded zone. While crossing a minor convexity, a soft slab released around him. He turned into the avalanche and was able to ski to a pre established safety zone. The avalanche was approximately d.5-.1 and traveled 100 yards. Additionally, we had a d.5 sympathetic release approximately 50 yards to the west. This traveled 50 yards before arresting. We had ski cut the slope in an attempt to mitigate this zone, but did not release anything. It broke on the near surface facets approximately 30 cm down. One person and two dogs caught, no one was carried, and everyone walked away

North aspects appeared to hold good snow, but reactivity exists there.
