Quick report

Widespread 10mm thick rime crust on surface at all aspects up to 9200 feet on table mtn uptrack. Wet snow underneath. Cloud cover did not dissipate, it was very warm and tree bombs were falling like crazy onto the rime layer. Wild sound effects! Turned around at 9200 bc the skiing could not have been any worse. Spooky snowpack. Dug a pit on n aspect at 9000. HS220. Observed three distinct facet layers corresponding to recent storms/dry spells. Buried SH layer was very obvious (thin grey line). No buried crusts observed. ECTN14 down 25cm. ECTN24 down 60cm, ECTP26 down 80cm. Cohesive 1F slabs.
