A ton of wind-transport this morning. We walked up the TVT at 7 am before Targhee opened, and almost all the new snow that fell overnight was getting moved around, starting at around 8,000 feet and increasing with altitude. The groomers were covered with pillows of wind-blown snow that I would expect to both crack and collapse within a few hours in backcountry terrain. It was substantial enough that a small cornice formed next to the traverse, and on the way down I skied onto the wind slab above it and got it to crack and propagate. It was honestly pretty impressive. The wind we observed was out of the Northwest.
