OVC, max temp, 17/9 deg. WSW 35 G 60's winds dropped to 15 G 40's this afternoon. S5 all day. Storm total as of 4pm. 32" snow and 2" SWE.
Snowpack
Touchy to very touchy storm slabs. Wide spread cracking right form the get go this AM. Storm slabs were soft and generally non destructive, they started out this morning from 15-30 cm's and grew up to 90 cm's at the largest with propagation up to 200' . Most storm slabs were failing on MFC as we gained elevation on W aspects on the upper end of BTL storm slabs were failing on a early storm interface 1" above the old MFC . E/S aspects SS were failing on the MFC touchy with some sympathetic slides on SE aspects NTL.
