Quick report
Quiet snowpack, both underfoot and in stability tests. There's still a strong over weak structure on intact slopes, but the slab is decaying top down and the buried facet layer is rounding. Most of the steep terrain ran naturally during last week's storm, the few slopes that didn't were cracked/slumped. We made some adventurous turns on steep bedsurfaces and had to manage for shallow facet sluffs, but mostly just buried rocks. Surface hoar growth spanned all elevations to our high point at 11k, the larger crystals were pockety in distribution and more common at lower elevations.

Skier triggered several shallow facet sluffs in steep terrain, just large enough to push you around or knock you over. Extensive wall-to-wall natural flush in the Climax Chutes from last week's storm, and throughout most of the steep terrain, which we previously documented. I'm adding a few smaller ones that we couldn't see from the road.
