Our group ventured out on a tour to Top of the World via the east ridge from Ghoulie point. Along the way through Kona we saw small natural loose snow avalanches 10-15 ft high on both steep sides of a shaded southwest running gully. Past Spruce peak through the open meadows we encountered frequent audible collapsing. At Top of the World we dug a pit, resulting in ECTP14 (NNW, 52cm deep, 6450 elevation). Additional taps collapsed another layer 20 cm below (see picture). I'll come back if I need blocks for my igloo, not for my powder turns. More evidence of recent snowpack instability.
