Quick report
Explored Old Man's Bowl area sticking to low angle slopes. Dug two pits, one on the south aspect, the other on the north aspect of the ridge. South/Southwest aspect: 6400'; ECTP 14 at first layer 38cm, ECTP 16 at second layer 48cm. North/Northeast aspect: 6350'; ECTX Triggered a D1 avalanche on the north aspect while digging the snow pit directly below us. We believe the ECT failed due to triggering the avalanche in close proximity to the snow pit. Avalanche was about 30' across and 30-35cm deep.
