Unstable snow with several large collapses and propagation results in ECT. Soft snow surface from recent winds, overall nice skiing. Several large collages in lower angle meadows and touring up to Hunter's Knob. Dug several test pits, with one ECT result with propagation.
Snowpack
HS 95cm at 8700' and HS 105cm at 9k, both E aspects. We found facets near the bottom of our pit snow columns, which were likely also the weak layer producing collapsing. Low tide in the lower treeline.
