Other than a few recent dry sluffs, we didn't see much in the way of fresh avalanche activity, but we did see evidence of a few large natural avalanches from the Solstice Storm (12-21-2014) and we skied over a section of Bobcat with large hard chunks and avalanche debris covered nicely by the Christmas Powder.

We found shallow but very hard snow under the powder and sun-crusted snow down low in Wood Camp, and deeper solid snow up higher in the south facing Ham Hollow.

Snowpack

Light m/f crust on snow surface on south facing Ham Hollow, with the sun retreating back into the clouds after warming the snow surface in the morning.  Nice powder in north facing terrain.
