Observed on the far north edge of a large open area that fetches typical SW winds. 38 degree start zone into 30 degree apron. Ran in large blocks that hit the edge of aspen stand. Some rounding and snow filling on debris blocks, so I assume it ran sometime during the Feb 6-10 stormy period.
We were surprised to find this at the edge of very benign terrain. Lots of collapses in open meadows skinning up. It was a good reminder that even a small slide like that could be a real problem if you were in a terrain trap.
