Triggered a small D1 avalanche via ski cut in lower Wolverine chutes yesterday. Cracking and collapsing increased as we moved down slope into mid elevation and steeper slope angle. This appears to have failed on a graupel layer that fell prior to the cold snow blowing in mid day. As I started to cut this slope, shooting cracks were prevalent and it was clear as the aspect looped around to NE there was a small, mostly non consequential slab. Likely exacerbated by green housing and warming the previous afternoon. This slide propagated about 80-100 foot around the N/NE aspect of the skiers right chute.
