We dug a pit on a NW aspect at 8400' near titmouse ridge on Teton Pass. In the cool shaded area, the snowpack was mostly faceted grains of various size, surface grain was 4-5mm surface hoar. Any rounded grains were moving towards facets. There was no slab development so ECT did not produce any results.
