Glory

Quite the opposite day in terms of weather. Yesterday, light winds and warm temperatures created a splitter day high in GTNP - with even some wet loose running on northeast aspects/mid elevations by the end of the day. Not the story today, as northwest winds and minimal solar input kept things quite firm and frozen during the mid-morning hours. Warming temperatures will begin Friday, likely eliminating the memory of the bone-rattling conditions, and will create a rising trend of wet loose avalanche problems.
