Quick report
Low tide at low elevation. Not surprising to anyone at this point. Traveling along the ridgeline south of Pine Creek Pass we found the snowpack ranged from 15 - 20 inches on N - E aspects in protected terrain at 6900'. Exposed ridgelines and southern aspects were close to if not completely dry. We were able to dig a small pit on an east slope that produced an ECTX but had some interesting crust layers present (see photo). Facets were found between all of the crust layers, and some small surface hoar was present as well.
