Snowpack
HS averages 50 to 70 cm. The snowpack is going through melt-freeze processes on southerlies, faceting on northerlies, and a mix of the two on easterlies. Above 10,000', it is still supportive to skis with some 4F snow in the lower part of the recent storm snow, but it feels like the slab is faceting away in wind protected terrain. A test on a NE facing slope at 10,700' showed non-propagating results on the 10/28 layer, a crust/facet combo.
