Quick report
Made 3 laps in the cornbiscuit area today. There is a temperature crust just below the surface down low that mostly dissipated as we gained elevation. We felt a similar crust as we shifted aspects on features while descending. We observed a handful of dinner table sized pockets pulled out by skiers on convexities that are hard to call an avalanche . We also noted a number of larger skier trigger loose on steep slopes, and one old slab. The slab was climbers right of the skin track at the head of the valley. Very light wind on the ridge but no active transport noted. Old signs of wind effect were apparent looking around the valleys. Excellent skiing, but cold out of the sun.
