Observed wind loading on west facing slopes throughout the day, south facing slopes becoming saturated late in the day and making fresh snow wet and heavy.
Avalanche
Skier triggered small avalanche on the western wind loaded side of Taylor Pass. Avalanche was on the most south facing side of the saddle around 4:30pm.
