Snowpack

Observation: Mineral Fork

Quick report

We did see debris that had run down off the top of the mineral ridge (obscured by clouds) and thus we stopped a hundred+ feet below where I normally stop, not wanting to tickle the dragon (NW facing, 9500 feet).

Snowpack

the snow got a little thick and damp at the lowest elevations.  The new snow seemed to bond well to the old snow on both north and south aspects, with no slab development.   I can imagine that with the winds that did blow slabs could've/would've/did happen up high, but not where we were.
