Early Season Turns

Skiing supportive snow above tree line and fun facets below tree line down to 1300m. Hoar frost up to 1700m, more prominent on south slopes between 1300-1600m (Picture at 1600m). Slight crust below frost. Hand shears on a north aspect showed a resistant planar type failure around 10cm on features that were wind scoured above 1500m.
