Fraser Northeast Ridge

The ascent up the ridge consisted of wind slabs, sastrugi, and wind loaded snow. The descent was on top of windloaded and storm snow, about 15-20cms with a very dense layer underneath. The best snow was on the leeward side(north facing aspect). Remnants of wet slides everywhere, avoid the snowballs.
