We skied to the Healy pass area and skied up to the unnamed peak to the immediate north of the meadow. Once we reached the ridge, our party heard two sets of whumpfs. The second whumpf set off a remote triggered slide. This slide was on the leeward side of the slope ~15 m away on a slope greater than 45 degrees. The slide was ~1-1.5, but we did not approach the edge of the ridge to fully assess given the situation. Our party had no intention of skiing that slope but proceeded to assess the situation and continued to the mellow, treed windward slope. Once prepped the snow was stable and the run was great. This was a great reminder of paying attention to the surroundings and constantly assessing the situation.
