Going up a slippery slope

Very cold start to the day but warmed up quickly once away from the creek. South-ish facing skin tracks were quite slippery so crampons are advisable.
Not much wind today but lots of wind crusts all around with surface hoar (1-2cm) being very present when not wind affected. Skiing on an east facing slope was very variable with great pow right next to a hard and ugly crust (wind and melt freeze). Still some fun to be had but harder to find.
