<p>HS 210 cms at 2200m west aspect sheltered location TL. ECTN28 down 35cms. Could feel this layer with the card sliding down the wall as well.
Top 25cms is 4f to 1F. Below that is P for about 80cms, then 1 to 2mm facets. Didn’t dig below 1 metre.
SP about 20cms except in isolated wind pressed surfaces near the pass.
Less wind affect in the surface snow at burstall than expected. Didn’t encounter any surface slabs. Good skiing. Snowpack very supportive in the trees from parking lot onwards.
Windy in ALP all day. </p>
