Apex secondary

<p>Snow was falling heavily on the way into Secondary. The snow pack was about 60 cms near the top of the ridge. There was 20 cms of very dry powder ontop of the remains of the early November snowfall. That layer is 40cms deep, faceted and fairly low density. There is a thin suncrust ontop of it, and a weaker layer below the ice crust that produced easy results in a quick pit. Riding was great, but the snow pack is still thin and we left behind a good amount of p-tex between the three riders. Stumps and rocks are still plentiful, especially down low. Temps were hovering at -15 all day.</p>
