Snow was soft and moist but supportive (boot penetration ~20 cm) up to 1600 m. Nice for trail building. Lots of evidence of previous natural loose wet cycle. Not much to report except what appeared to be evidence of an airblast from a (loose wet?) avalanche out of a south aspect suspected to have run during the long warm sunny spell last weekend. The avalanche debris stopped in the valley bottom but the corresponding section of road (slightly uphill from valley bottom) was covered in small tree debris.
