Happy hour Hollyburn Hustle

After a morning cruise across the Strait, we met up with our newest team member for a quick lap on Hollyburn. We found 20 cm of new snow well bonded to the wet Christmas crust. There were a couple of slight density changes in the new snow that we could reveal in had shear tests but too shallow to be of concern. Very little wind at this elevation. About 10 cm would be easily transportable if winds were to pick up. Really nice turns in lower angle powder but the crust was still quite apparent on steeper pitches.
