Take the rock skis and prepare the P-Tex. Skied Purple Knob today. All the way up the snow felt supportive. Cornices present, see the pictures. First 10-15m of the run, just a few cm of snow lay on the gravel (looked to be wind-affected), then nice skiing up to the bottom rocks. After that quite a lot of sharks. Then nice skiing up to the Hero’s Knob skin up track. All in all, I would say it needs a bit more snow, but anyway, a beautiful day in the backcountry.
