Commonwealth Lake area

<p>With intentions to ski the pigs back loop today, we ended up pulling the plug at commonwealth lake due to much higher than anticipated loading going on in the alpine. Winds were high (expected) but it was also snowing (unexpected) and we witnessed some pretty substantial sloughing out of steep terrain already at 9:30AM. Figured the big slope we were going to ski was seeing some pretty significant loading up high. Decided to end the day early, before getting anywhere near the alpine. Ski quality in the trees was pretty good. No photos today (that's rare for me!). </p>
