STS and Cheops North
Glacier

Good skiing in the north face of cheops today, with dozens of skiers lining up to ride Niccis, North Bowl, STS and the shelf. No stability concerns, and the week's earlier snow made for good quality riding on shaded and north aspects. In steeper terrain there was a small amount of sloughing, but nothing propagated and it did not run far. Anything sun exposed had an obvious crust in the morning, and was wet and mushy in the afternoon sun. Could see a few older releases in 8812 bowl.
