Cold but sunny

<p>So we decide to head out to some sunny slope for some turns on this -29 deg morning. Open areas had a 2-5cm wind crust on the surface and the Dec 1st rain crust was probed at 105 cm down at TL. Sheltered trees ski excellently with dry cold snow. There were moderate W/NW winds at ridge top depositing snow on lee slopes. No signs of instability underfoot. HS is 185cm at 2450m </p>
