Slush slush baby in the Seymour resort


A good reminder that just because it’s in a resort doesn’t make it benign. We saw a skier triggered size 0.5 wet loose avalanche release on n a a steep convexity and slide onto the cat track inbounds, part way up the now closed Seymour resort In general, the afternoon was warm and the snow was soft and slushy. That being said, we found surprisingly good spring corn on the face of pump peak.

Snow conditions were: Wet. Weather conditions were: Warm. We rode: Mellow slopes, Open trees, Steep slopes. Riding quality was good.

Avalache Conditions: Rapid temperature rise to near zero degrees or wet surface snow.
