Lots of wind transported snow up shames valley. Wind pressed, and soft wind slabs present. Settlement and whumpfing. Cracks on lower angled slopes too flat to slide. Warm temps lower in the valley (BTL), snow melting from trees and wet snow.
Ski cut a slope expecting a result and it slid. Failed in the 1" of loose crystals (likely facets) above the Dec 7 crain crust. Saw cracks on lower angle slopes and felt whumf/settlement in areas. Small now but could be a concern with new loading.
