Engadine Burn - Large Settlement Observed

Enjoyed a quiet and relaxed day skiing in the Engadine burn area. There are quite a number of tracks in and immediately adjacent to the firebreak. We found good skiing over all, however the area appears to have received the lower end of the forecasted snowfall amounts. Existing tracks suggested that only one previous group ventured onto the steeper pitch above the knob/flat area that's found at approx. 2275m in elevation. On our first lap and after some contemplation, our party ascended slightly above where this previous group had turned around. At 2350m, we felt and heard a large settlement however, so we backed off and enjoyed a few laps of mellow turns in the trees below.
