<p>Significant avalanche activity from last week's snow fall. All observed avalanches were Class 1-2 and on NE (wind loaded) aspects and were several days old. No avalanches on S facing aspects although warm weather will likely result in S facing aspect slides in the near future. Pit details: Total snow depth - 2.9m Pit depth - 1.5 m Ice layers @ 40 cm, 100 cm NE facing aspect 22 degrees CTM12 @ 20 cm CTH 25 @ 40 cm Elevation 1600 m (5300ft) </p>
