Mountain Conditions Report

The last ten days of cold weather have formed a lot of ice in Glacier Gulch. We climbed a line on the N side today that I have never seen before. It's 120 m/ III, and safe from snow avalanches. There was a surprising amount of water flowing and the ice was warm. We stayed away from the right side falls as there has been quite a bit of wind transport in the 1,800 vertical metres of steep terrain above. There is very little snow at the lower elevations. We could easily drive to the summer parking lot. A trail has been cut directly from the parking lot. It stays in the mature timber and avoids the rather thick alder and devil's club of the more open areas.
Location: 54.82343685 -127.27935791
