We saw one old Loose Wet avalanche that sluffed from ski tracks.

Weather today partly cloudy with a light to moderate breeze, fairly warm temperatures. Looks like the storm is approaching, but not here yet.

Shovel breaker snowpack on northeast above tree line below the softer surface snow. We found about 6 inches of fairly recent, newer snow. It's well bonded to the older snow surfaces and was moist by mid-morning. Below the new snow is an almost impenetrable crust with super-consolidated snow below it.
