Quick Observation

Roughly 160m snowpack in mid-elevation of northbowl with increasing density in the middle snowpack. Quick pit: New snow averaged between 10-20cm (blower pow!). Below storm snow saw 4finger 10cm-30cm; 30cm-70cm down saw 1finger rounding-facets; 70cm+ back to 4finger facets. We were most concerned about the immediate leeward terrain due to wind loading, and skied protected features given uncertainty in the deeper instabilities (November crust/facet combo near the base of the snowpack). Lots of scouring on windward faces, sweet cold smoke in protected features
