Mount Hector

Boot packed up to 2100m. Solid refreeze above 1950m. Sunny in the morning but overcast and strong winds to 300pm. Sun came out and made for nice decent. 15cm of dry powder to 2800m. From 2800m to 2100m crusty but easy skiing. Then walking from 2100m where the snow would have been nice and soft but it had mostly melted away. Lots of open crevasses lookers right, we went lookers left and there and a few open holes to get over there to watch out for.
