Two natural releases on E face of Columnar, starting up high in steep terrain near summit clif bands.

Resistant failure at CT23 on the weak layer 30cm down below new storm snow. Pit dug high on SE shoulder of columnar in an area sheltered from recent winds. Observed significant pinwheeling at 1115 at 1750m as sun warmed the SE slope.
