Kootenay pass touristos

We skied trees on north east and north west aspects with excellent snow. We dug a pit on a 30 deg west facing slope slope at 2060m and saw a resistant planar down 35cm on 15 taps and a resistant planar down 120cm on 28taps. Hs 160cm. The day was generally sunny with significant warming. We observed debris from multiple wet loose avalanches on south and east aspects on the muffin. Amazing first day at Kootenay pass
