Quick Observation

In cut block significant whumping and some cracking around skis. Significant wind transport and gusty winds. Compression test results at 1750 meters on East aspect had a sudden collapse on the first hit and repeated on the 7th tap. Down 24cms on size 2 facets on rain crust. 2 Extended column tests failed and propagated on the 1st tap down 24cms on the same layer. Testing the lower pack yielded no results even with some facets evident under the crust. Seems like human triggered avalanches very likely on this layer. Looked like North/ North East Aspects received heavy loading last night and today at ridgetops.
