Wide spread surface hoar above 2000m. No signs of recent wind and no wind loading oberved. 30cm of light dry powder and surface hoar on top of 3-5cm crust. Well consolidated snow below that for about 70cm then signs of faceting started to show. Biggish sloughs chased us around all day, nothing unmanageable though.

-25c at Hector lake in the morning. Above 2000m it was -6c late morning. Clear calm day. Stayed cold in the valley and warmer up high.
