Quick Observation

Cold start to the day with morning temperatures at -14. There was 10cm new low-density snow sitting on the supportive to snowshoes (Dec 9) Melt Freeze Crust. Snow depths at treeline were 50 - 70cm. The wind started to gust in the afternoon from various directions and the new snow was starting to transport and temps had warmed to -5. We did some rescue practice in some low-angle terrain, hoping for some more snow soon.
