Whitewater backcountry, Acidophilus

Strong winds scouring most alpine features and making for undesirable comfort levels kept us at treeline where the protected areas skied well. A wind slab was building on Lee feature, we we saw lots of cracking on the skin track and ski cuts, however the slabs we fairly resistant. We stayed away from steep lee features.
